San Francisco Office of the Public Defender

The juvenile division of the Public Defender’s Office represents minors charged with criminal offenses including pre-adjudication (pre-filed diversion advocacy), adjudication of formally charged petitions (arraignment, pre-trial, trial, disposition/sentencing) and post adjudication (continued advocacy for clients post disposition/sentencing including placement and probation and transitional age youth advocacy for clients transitioning out of the juvenile system and court ordered placements).
